Adapt Solutions is also the manufacturer of the POWER PULL, which is a wheelchair & passenger ramp assist system. With the use of an electronically controlled retractable cable and remote control, the person in the chair can attach their wheelchair to the POWER PULL from outside the vehicle. The cable is attached to the left and right side of the front of the wheelchair. Quovis is manufactured in Spain, backed by automotive engineering professionals with over 50 years of industry experience. In Europe the Quovis is classified as a quadricycle and may be driven on public streets. The quadricycle is strictly a classification based on weight and it is not subjected to the same regulations as passenger cars.
In North America the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) does not recognize the concept of a quadricycle, but has set safety standards for Low Speed Vehicles (LSV).
