The Automobile Adaptive Equipment (AAE) program permits physically challenged persons to enter, exit and/or operate a motor vehicle or other conveyance. The VA also provides necessary equipment such as platform wheelchair lifts, UVLs (under vehicle lifts), power door openers, lowered floors/raised roofs, raised doors, hand controls, left foot...
The purpose of this brochure is to ensure that all active duty military/veterans with brain and spinal cord injuries have knowledge of and access to all available local, state and federal services. You are encouraged to contact the many community partners.
