The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis is proud to host its’ 2nd annual Community Open House event on February 18, 2012. This is an invitation for the spinal cord injured (SCI) community to visit our research center and LEARN about the latest research regarding chronic injury, INFORM us about research topics important to individuals with SCI, and participate in behind the scenes TOURS of our research laboratories. This event is FREE, runs from 12-5pm, and includes light refreshments. Topics to be discussed include scar tissue, cell therapies, regeneration drugs, muscle spasms, neuropathic pain, and Neurotechnology/brain-computer interfaces.
